The Good Weather Kid Thunder fork is built for riding across diverse terrain in diverse places. Big tire clearance, hidden fender mounts, and internal cable routing create a refined look and capable front end.
Modern in all the best ways. A 50mm rake on a 1.5″ tapered steerer column and 12mm through-axle make for a confident ride with precise handling. Side eyelets (for front-loading), and flat mount disc are sleak and functional.
Why we made this
We needed a fork that would compliment the geometry of our G.O.A.T. frame, and we couldn’t find one that had the right offset, was rugged, light, eyeleted, and good looking so we designed one. We are based in Seattle, so fender mounts and easy ways to strap on extra gear was a must. Our favorite activities are heading into the mountains for a few days, so we added triple eyelets down the side to make better front loading possible. The Kid Thunder allows for 27.5’’ x 2.3 tires without fender, 2.1’’ tires with a fender, making it a formidable addition to any bike hoping to journey a bit farther.
